About This Wine

Wow! This Blend is firing on all cylinders! This Super Tuscan inspired wine with a touch of Petite Sirah shows a wonderful, deep black/blue color. The Sangiovese from Juliana vineyard in Pope Valley thrives in Tuscan like conditions and enjoys most of its days bathed in the sun. This blend is made the traditional Bordeaux way with Cabernet from the Biale To Kalon vineyards. This wine possesses wonderful red rock candy, cassis and red stone fruit aromas with a touch of French Oak vanillin for thickening the nose. On the palate are more bright cherry fruit and impressive acid and tannin structure. This is not a heady or syrupy wine but one with an array of old world influenced flavors and fine balance. Cellared properly this wine should cellar well for 10 years or more.

Wine Spectator Review 89

Crush Me Press Review 94

We recently visited with Duffy Keys at the Vineyard of B Cellars in Napa. We have been selling these great wines for some time and I think the blends they are making will soon be discovered by wine aficionados around the world. The "24" blend reminds us of a sunny afternoon in Tuscany. Its big and bright and has great balance. Fruit is first and just the right balance of tannins. A long and lingering finish has made this wine a staff favorite and we give it a hearty thumbs up. Duffy and his partner Jim Borsac don't submit their wines to the raing services. They think their wines speak for themselves and we can help them do the bragging. It won't be long before you will see hugh scores from Parker and Wine Spectator on these wines so buy and add them to your cellar. Drink now through 2018. Oh and the "B" stands for BRIX and we are familiar with that name!

About The Winery

B Cellars blends talent and experience into their cultivation of fine Napa wines. Jim Borsack, founder of B Cellars, first encountered his partner Duffy Keys in 2002. In the Spring of 2003, they structured a first-rate wine company dedicated to producing exceptional artisan wines with distinct, blended flavors from complementary varietals. The letter “B” and the degree symbol refer to BRIX, the term for optimal sugar/alcohol content in grape juice and ultimately indicates the potential for greatness.
