Legal age requirement

All Brix House Wine packages require a signature from someone who is 21 or older. We only ship to addresses where the customer notifies us that someone of legal age will be present during normal business hours. Carriers will not deliver packages to under age persons and a failed delivery attempt will cause a delay in receipt and may introduce weather-related risk of damage.

Confirmation of wine purchases

No order shall be considered confirmed until Customer has fully paid by credit card and received an email or other written confirmation.

Once your shipment has been sent, you will receive an automatic email from the carrier containing the tracking number and information for your shipment.

When title (ownership) passes from Brix House Wine to Customer

Brix House Wine will ship all orders for delivery in California. If you wish to ship to another state, you assume all responsibility for shipment, as title passes to you, the buyer, upon approval of payment. As state laws are in a state of flux, our acceptance of an order is not a guarantee that we will be able to ship wine to the state you have designated for delivery. We will notify you by email if we are unable to ship wine to the state designated.

Order cancellations

Purchases cancelled prior to shipment will be accepted by Brix House Wine. If an order has already been shipped, it is not cancellable.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase of fine wine from us, or we have made an error with your order, please email us or call our Customer Care Line at (877) 333-9303, within 30 days of delivery of your order, explaining the reasons for your dissatisfaction. Each situation will be reviewed on an individual basis in light of facts and circumstances of that case and resolved promptly. At our discretion, we may offer you a replacement, a discount, a refund or an account credit to be used for a subsequent purchase. Other than for Brix House Wine errors, we generally cannot accept a return if title has been transferred to you.

Rare/Vintage Wine

Per wine industry standard, all wines with a vintage dated 8 years or older are purchased at the buyer’s risk. We are unable to replace any items damaged in transit or for any other reason, as these are irreplacable, one-of-a-kind wines.

Price changes and availability

All prices associated with wine offers to Customer, whether through the website, email, or other means, are subject to change without notice. Availability of wine is subject to Brix House Wine purchased stock or such lesser amount as Brix House Wine may decide. Brix House Wine is not responsible for typographical errors and reserves the right to correct any errors in pricing. Brix House Wine also reserves the right to set minimum and maximum purchase quantities.

Disclaimers/Limitation of liability

Customer purchase and use of any product from Brix House Wine is at Customer's risk. To the extent fully permitted by law, neither Brix House Wine nor any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering products is liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of Customer access to, or use of, Brix House Wine products or goods purchased through use of Brix House Wine's service. Unless expressly granted by these Terms, all goods are sold "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
